About Qing Lu

Dr. Lu’s research interests are primarily in statistical genetics and statistical learning/AI. One area of research is the development of statistical learning/AI methods (e.g., tree-based and neural-network-based methods) for high-dimensional data analysis (e.g., genetic data analysis). In parallel with statistical learning/AI research, he is also interested in developing and applying new statistical methods (e.g., U-statistics). In addition to developing new methods, he collaborates with other researchers to investigate various biomedical and public health research questions.
